How to Make a Basic Powerpoint Slide Show

1. Open "Microsoft Power Point" (just as you would open "Word").

2. Choose "Blank Presentation"

3. Choose a slide template (based on what type of information you want on the first slide).

4. The slide will already have words on it — something to the likes of "Click to ass title" and/or" Click to add text" depending on which slide template you have chosen.

5. Click on those words and type in your words. You can change the font or size of the words as you like.

6. When you have as much information as you need/want, go to the top of the screen, to the toolbars, and choose "Insert" and then "New Slide".

7. The various slide templates will again be shown to you. Choose one and click "OK".

8. Repeat steps 4-6

9. When you want to see your presentation, go to the bottom left corner and click on the button that looks like a bizarre slide projector. Click on that button, and the slide that was up on the screen will begin the show. Continue clicking the mouse to advance from slide to slide, clicking after the last slide to take you back to the working mode.
