Ed 216BF: Factor Analysis (Fall 2010)
This course is an introductory course on the practice and principles of Factor Analysis. Topics covered include exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis (FA), among other things.
Ed 216F: Structural Equation Modeling (Winter 2011)
This course is an introductory course on the practice and principles of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Topics covered include path analysis, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis (FA), structural and measurement models, multiple group FA and SEM, as well as a brief introduction to mean structure models specifically focused on growth models. The course is an applied introduction to SEM and students are expected to complete a final project at the end of the course that is written up in formal APA format.
Ed 214C: Linear Statistical Models ( Spring 2011)
The third and final course in the 214 statistics sequence, this course focuses on advanced topics related to ANOVA and Regression. Topics include repeated measure ANOVA, Factorial ANOVA, multiple regression, mediation and moderation, and logistic regression, among others. The course consists of weekly lecture, followed by a lab. A final written project provides students the experience of writing up analysis results in APA format.
