On behalf of the faculty of the Department of Education, I am pleased to welcome you to our website!Being educated and educating others – these are among the experiences that make us uniquely human. We hope you are as intrigued as we are by the many aspects, insights, and puzzles that are there to explore in the diverse, multidisciplinary field of Education. Our internationally recognized research faculty is also dedicated to teaching. We offer graduate programs that span the global phenomena of education. Our students choose to examine children and their families, the work of educators and policy-makers, the promises of new technologies, and the social and cultural institutions of education.
